America’s luckiest lottery player wins $1million prize twice in one DAY having played the same numbers for 30 years – The Sun

America's luckiest lottery player has won a $1million prize twice in just one day after having played the same numbers for the last 30 years.

'Joe B', from Pueblo, Colorado, won two Powerball prizes on March 25, but only claimed his winnings on Monday.

A statement on the Colorado Lottery website said: "Joe likes to play one play of his own numbers, and a couple more plays with Quick Picks.

"He bought a few Powerball plays in the morning at 7-Eleven on 926 Lake Ave, then stopped and bought a few more plays in the evening at Loaf N' Jug on 2050 Lake Ave.

"Can you believe what amazing luck!"

Due to the coronavirus guidelines, Joe had to make an appointment to collect his winnings at one of their drive-thru claims offices.

The statement continued: "Joe redeemed his tickets Monday morning at our Pueblo drive-thru claims office.

"When the claims staff asked what he and his wife plan to spend the money on, he said, 'the Boss has plans for it'.

"Smart man!"

Joe was pictured outside the drive-thru holding his two winning checks.

Photos also show that a woman giving the winner his check was wearing a face mask and gloves at the temporary claims office.
