Strictly's Giovanni Pernice and Rose Ayling-Ellis walk arm-in-arm in cosy tour snaps

STRICTLY Come Dancing winners Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice's close bond was on display as they returned to their hotel after one of their tour dates.

The friends kicked off the Strictly tour in Birmingham on Thursday and looked at ease in each other's company as they were pictured with their arms around each other's waist.

Italian dancer Giovanni sported a low-key look for his post-show appearance in a white hoodie, black joggers and oversized padded coat.

Following his off-duty style lead, Rose, 27, donned a similar black padded coat, pink sweater and tracksuit bottoms.

The pair have been vocal about the 'magical bond' they formed during the BBC ballroom stalwart, and regularly feature on each other's social media.

Their appearance comes days after the dance partners gave fans a glimpse at what life on tour is like.

The hilarious duo shared a series of clips as they messed around backstage in their dressing gowns during the dress rehearsal.

Giovanni told his followers: “Dress run is going well.” The 31-year-old then turned to Rose saying: “It’s nice to dance with you again.”

The EastEnders actress replied:  “Yeah, it’s lovely to dance again and it brings back happy memories.”

Rose seems to be having lots of fun on tour and shared another clip as she danced to Beyonce’s All The Single Ladies with pro dancer Luba Mushtuk.

While Giovanni might be single, Rose is happily loved up with her boyfriend Sam.

The EastEnders star has tried to keep her personal life out of the public eye, and could be the reason why Sam did not appear in the Strictly studio before the final.

OK magazine reported them spending their six year anniversary together in 2020.

Rose wrote: “Six years we’ve been together and I still don’t find you annoying”, in a sweet Instagram tribute to her boyfriend.

While Samuel, writing on social media said: “I still find you the most funniest, beautiful and super cool girlfriend I ever asked for."

The soap star made history in December after becoming the first deaf contestant to win the BBC ballroom series.

TOUR LIFE

Following her win, The Sun exclusively revealed that EastEnders cast and crew feared Rose will quit the soap to chase new chapter in career.

But she has returned to filming alongside onscreen dad Danny Dyer and is juggling tour life.

Fans also feared Rose wouldn’t be going on tour and Giovanni teased followers about the rumours.

Taking to Instagram stories, he joked: "Good morning lovely people. Just a quick message to clarify all the rumours that are going [around] at the moment. Um, yes, it's true.

“Rose is not doing the tour anymore so I will be dancing on my own all day every day.”

Rose suddenly popped up, declaring: "I'm not going anywhere.”

Deadpan as ever, Gio replied: "You're not going anywhere, you're coming on tour with me?"
