Inside Hollyoaks star Richard Blackwood’s home with HUGE sofa, movie posters on the wall and massive BBQ – The Sun
RICHARD Blackwood can learn any upcoming lines for Hollyoaks from the comfort of his ultra-modern pad.
His first scenes on the Channel 4 soap are due to air later this month as the estranged father of triplets Mitchell Deveraux, Celeste Faroe and Toby Faroe.
When the actor, 47, isn't busy on set, he regularly uploads snaps to his Instagram which give an insight into his lavish home which has a simple yet stylish vibe.
His living room boasts a huge velvet crushed grey sofa with matching cushions.
The open space has cream walls and an amazing source of natural light.
The actor's kitchen has a red statement piece wall which looks amazing contrasted against his white kitchen work tops.
He's also opted for some wooden venetian blinds in another room to make sure that he gets the privacy he needs when he's relaxing at home.
The star has a range of board games, including everybody's favourite Monopoly, for when he has visitors come round to his pad.
He also has a huge flat screen TV to entertain guests and a range of quirky bits and bobs lying around the house to give his pad a bit of personality.
Moving upstairs, Richard's bedroom has a huge double bed with a pink headboard and a range of silk and sparkly cushions.
His love for movies definitely shows in the space as there is also a movie poster dangling from his bedroom wall.
During the summer Richard can entertain guests with some tasty food made from his funky orange BBQ.
Back in January The Sun Online revealed that the ex EastEnders star was joining the cast of Hollyoaks.
The actor, who played Vincent Hubbard in the BBC soap, has been described by the soap as a "smooth talker" who will "set out to woo many of the ladies in the village".
His character Felix returns to the dysfunctional family in the midst of a shocking triplets storyline.Viewers know that Toby and Celeste revealed earlier this month that they were experimented on by a sick doctor after Martine gave them away.
The twins have set out for revenge against their birth mother Martine after she gave them up but kept their brother Mitchell.
In the upcoming scenes, Celeste lures her long-lost father to the village under the false pretence that Martine wants to get to know him again.
But Felix is in for the shock of his life when he comes face to face with the children he thought had been given away at birth.
Speaking to Radio Times about Felix’s arrival, Richard said: “It’s big! It throws him a loop because Celeste has got him to the village under false pretences, he has no idea he’s going to see them.
"But it gives him a vulnerability from the start which connects him to the audience. Seeing this kids really gets to him.”
