Gogglebox stars including Tom and Julie Malone have left fans devastated after revealing the end of the series is near.
The Manchester couple have spent the past few months giving their verdict on the nation's favourite TV programmes.
On the latest episode on Friday (May 20), the pair tuned into clips from The Repair Shop, The Eurovision Song Contest, BBC News and Beat The Chasers.
However the couple, who often appear on the show with their son Sean and daughter Vanessa, have revealed last week's episode would be the penultimate one of the series.
Tom Snr said in a video shared to the couple's joint Instagram page: "We're getting near the end of the series now. Julie is throwing out these big words. I said it's the second to last night, Julie is saying what?"
Julie then added: "It's the penultimate night."
Tom Snr joked: "This is education for you, does nothing does it."
Gogglebox fans then rushed to the comment section to tell how devastated they were the series was coming to an end.
One said: "No I can't believe it's nearly the end of the series. Friday night is Gogglebox night." @matthewsoakell cried: "Hate it when Gogglebox is no longer on on a Friday night."
Another gutted fan wrote: "I bloody love you pair!!!! This show should never end my Friday nights revolve around Gogglebox!!!"
A third added: "Love the Malone's…. Will be gutted when Gogglebox ends." @melaniejp64 added: "Already no hope we don't have to wait to long for the next series love you all."
Gogglebox stars Abbie Lynn and Georgia Bell also took to Instagram to confirm filming was concluding.
Abbie shared a boomerang of the pair to her Instagram Story and said: "Last one of the series let's goooo."
Meanwhile pregnant Georgia wrote on her own page "Filming the last ep of the series."
