Meghan Markle announces Disney role in first showbiz job

Meghan Markle's new job working with Disney has been unveiled, as the former actress gets set for Megxit.

Prince Harry's wife has bagged a role narrating Disney+'s new show Elephant.

Walt Disney Studios announced the news about Meghan's upcoming role on their official Twitter page today.

They tweeted: "Disneynature’s Elephant, an Original Movie narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, starts streaming April 3, only on #DisneyPlus."

While Meghan will just be providing a narrating voiceover and won't appear on screen, undoubtedly her fans will be delighted, as it is her first job in the acting sphere since she appeared in Suits.

The hugely popular programme, which is available to stream on Netflix, saw Meghan play hot-shot lawyer Rachel Zane.

Meghan stepped away from the world of acting and her role on the show when her relationship with Harry got more serious, seeing her take on royal duties.

But now with Megxit around the corner, it looks like Meghan will be flexing her acting muscles once more.

It was recently reported that Meghan had been offered $1million to reprise her role in the hit show, but she didn't take up the offer.

Meghan's Disney announcement comes as the couple conduct their remaining duties in their final week as senior figures of the Royal Family, with Megxit scheduled in the diary for March 31.

As of April 1, the couples will officially start their lives outside of the royal spotlight.

Meghan and Harry have already relocated to Canada with baby Archie.

The happy family are currently self-isolating for coronavirus. There is nothing to suggest that any of them are unwell.
