Boys don’t want to date me so I am glad to have a break from school – The Sun
DEAR DEIDRE: IT’S a relief to me that we’re going to be off school for a good while.
People like me at my school but for some reason I’m seen as “the girl no one wants to date”, and I get no interest at all from boys.

I don’t make an effort, for instance putting on make-up and doing my hair, because I don’t want people making fun of me for even trying.
I don’t have to cope with the pressure so much now we’re all off school but I’d like it all to be different when we go back. I’m 16.
DEIDRE SAYS: I really feel for you but I’m confident this will all change for you in a while.
Your peers are by definition immature and relying on images from social media when deciding who is “cool”.
You’re liked, so you have what it takes for people to respond to you.
Pretty soon they will appreciate that your character and insight are worth more than make-up and hairstyles.
Stop worrying about whether you will look as if you’re trying, and develop your own style.
