CHELSEA are eyeing a summer rebuild despite the coronavirus uncertainty which continues to surround the Premier League.

The Blues are still in with a chance of signing Lautaro Martinez after the Argentine denied he had been in talks with Real Madrid and Barcelona.

But former Chelsea star Ashley Cole had his mansion robbed with a number of high-end jewellery nicked.

    Chelsea supporters will be pleased to hear that they have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Lautaro Martinez.

    The Inter Milan striker's agent has denied holding talks with Barcelona or Real Madrid.

    Representative Alberto Yaque told Radio del Plata: “We have chatted with many people, but nothing more.”

    Meanwhile, SunSport have exclusively revealed that Ashley Cole was attacked by a gang of masked robbers at his home.

    His mansion was ransacked and high value jewellery stolen when the raiders smashed their way in through rear doors.

    In more positive news, Lionel Messi has revealed Chelsea star Mason Mount to be among his 15 stars of the future.

    On Mount, Messi declared: ” Having watched him play he has the potential to be one of the best.


    Ashley Cole was attacked by a gang of masked robbers at his home, The Sun can reveal.

    The ex-England and Chelsea ace’s mansion was ransacked and high value jewellery stolen.

    Raiders in balaclavas and camouflage clothes smashed their way in to the property through the rear doors.

    Sources said Cole, 39, may have been threatened and tied to a chair but a spokesman on Tuesday night refused to comment on the claims.


    Manuel Neuer has no plans to join Chelsea and wants to extend his deal with Bayern Munich.

    The 34-year-old has emerged as a target for the Blues as they look to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga.

    But it has now been reported that Neuer has no intention to make the move to London this summer.

    Talks over his new contract with the German side have stalled as he allegedly wants a long-term deal.


    Olivier Giroud has allegedly turn down Chelsea's final offer to renew his deal.

    The French striker's current contract is set to expire next summer – and there's the option to add one more year on.

    But Tuttosport claim Giroud reject Chelsea's attempt to tie him down at Stamford Bridge.

    Inter Milan look the firm favourites to sign him on a free transfer in the summer.


    Ruben Loftus-Cheek has revealed what it was like to train alongside Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.

    At the age of 16, he was invited to train with the first-team after a session with the youth team.

    Recalling the moment, he said: “We had day release and at the end of the day we were about to go home, but we got pulled and told we were training with the first-team.

    “Everyone paired up and then Drogba was left. Me and Drogba.

    “I ended up pairing with him and going man-to-man with him. It is like they've got a glow around them when you're that young and looking up to these players.”
