Mark Wright installs huge football pitch in the £3.5million home he shares with Michelle Keegan
Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have added a huge football pitch to their already incredible £3.5million Essex mansion.
The Towie star – who is known for his love of the game – revealed he'd installed the large pitch, complete with perfectly-cut lawn lines, in the grounds of the new house he shares with wife Michelle, 36.
Posting a video of himself having a kickabout, a topless Mark, also 36, was clearly thrilled at the latest addition to the property, which already boasts a cinema room and swimming pool.
"Buzzing to say the least, the goals are set up, having what I love to do most at home!!," he wrote. "Had my first goal in my garden when I was a little boy. They say you never lose the love."
He posted the video with the famous football anthem Three Lions by David Baddiel, Frank Skinner, and The Lightning Seeds, playing over it.
Judging by the comments on the post from his famous pals, he won't be short of a teammate or two.
Fellow Towie star Dan Osborne wrote, "Unreal mate!!", while former Premier League player and The One Show presenter Jermaine Jenas said, "I might have to come out of retirement and show u how to strike a ball", followed by a laughing emoji.
West Ham Supporter Mark, who was previously on the academy books at West Ham, Arsenal and Tottenham, seemed to take the bait, replying, "you might strike a golf ball further than me, "just" you might be better at football than me as a whole but one things for sure JJ you can’t strike a football as hard as me. Absolute wand on me son!!".
Mark's freshly-cut lawn also got some praise, with one fan writing, "Grounds look fabulous. Top marks to the mower."
Football fan Mark and his actress wife Michelle moved into their "dream home" in early September after a two-year building project that reportedly cost the couple around £3.5million.
After knocking down a £1.3million home, the couple submitted plans for a much grander five-bedroom mansion complete with home gym, outdoor swimming pool, a granny annexe and sprawling gardens.
The couple have been sharing their building journey on their @wrightyhome Instagram account – which is followed by the likes of Alison Hammond and Natasha Hamilton, as well as over 570,000 others.
Sharing how thrilled he is with the end result, Mark said, “I’m loving it. I hope it’s my forever home. It feels incredible.”
To celebrate the house finally being finished, Mark and Michelle recently threw a lavish "Marchella" housewarming party – which included performances from pals Olly Murs and James Argent, as well as comedian Russell Kane.
Mark's sister Jess Wright also got up on stage to perform her 2012 dance track Dance All Night, before everyone was treated to an impressive firework show.
