CNN Anchor Brooke Baldwin Tests Positive for Coronavirus

The female anchor becomes the latest CNN host to contract the illness only a few days after her colleague Chris Cuomo tested positive for Covid-19 amid the global pandemic.

AceShowbizBrooke Baldwin has become the latest CNN anchor to test positive for the coronavirus.

The newswoman took to Instagram on Friday, April 3, 2020 to assure fans and followers she’s OK, but struggling with the early stages of Covid-19.

“I’ve been social distancing. Doing ALL the things we’re being told to do. Still – it got me,” she wrote. “I’m healthy… no underlying conditions… Honestly, I feel like one of the lucky ones.”

Earlier this week, one of her colleagues, Chris Cuomo, announced he had tested positive, but he has continued to anchor “Cuomo Prime Time” from the basement of his home.

The brother of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo wrote, “Soooo in these difficult times that seem to get more difficult and complicated by the day, I just found out that I am positive for corona virus. I have been exposed to people in recent days who have subsequently tested positive and I had a fever, chills and shortness of breath.”

“I just hope I didn’t give it to the kids and (wife) Cristina. That would make me feel worse than the illness! I am quarantined in my basement.”
