A Place In The Sun’s Jasmine Harman talks ‘weird’ discovery after coronavirus scare
A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman, 44, enjoyed a low-key outing over a park with her dog yesterday and documented her journey on Instagram. Her outing comes as her first since she fell ill with coronavirus symptoms last week.
It is quite weird getting out the house
Jasmine told fans it was “weird” to be outdoors after self-isolating for 11 days.
“Hey, look at me I’m out with this one,” she began while giving her 33,000 Instagram fans a glimpse of her dog.
“After, I’ve lost count now, 10 or 11 days indoors, I discovered on the NHS that if you are the one in your household that has had symptoms, you can go out after seven days if you are no longer experiencing a fever.
“So, I’ve done a load of extra days when I didn’t necessarily have to.
“Of course I’m still going to have to observe staying home, apart from the normal allowances,” she continued.

“But if you’re locked down with symptoms, obviously you’ve got to stay home full stop, so it is quite weird getting out the house.”
The mother-of-two went on to share information from the NHS website, which confirmed Jasmine’s discovery.
The website states that those with coronavirus symptoms should self-isolate for at least seven days until their symptoms stop.
They add that if you live with someone who has symptoms, you’ll need to self-isolate for 14 days from the day the sufferer’s symptoms started.
Jasmine’s first outing comes after she told fans she had symptoms of the deadly coronavirus.
Last week, she told her Instagram fans she hadn’t been on the social media site due to falling ill.
She said: “I’ve not been on here for a while because I’ve not been well.
“I think I do have the dreaded bug although I’m feeling much better than I was at the beginning of the week.”

The property expert went on to tell fans she had developed coronavirus symptoms such as a “cough” and a “shortness of breath”.
She went on to say: “No high temperature so I don’t know for sure if I have the coronavirus but it is fairly likely.
“My symptoms have been relatively mild. Just wanted to say that everybody is keeping safe and well in these weird times.”
The Channel 4 star continued to say she is self-isolating with her husband Jon Boast and their two children Joy, six, and Albion, four.

Following this, she gave fans an insight into her time at home on Instagram.
She told fans her husband, who is a cameraman on the show, stepped in to help her record a voiceover for the property show.
Jasmine shared a snap of herself holding a script, while wearing a pair of headphones on her head in front of a microphone.
A Place In The Sun continues tomorrow at 4.30pm on Channel 4.
