Recording Academy Leaders Cover John Prine’s ‘Angel From Montgomery’ For Charity

The Recording Academy paid tribute to Grammy award winner John Prine by covering a special version of his song “Angel From Montgomery.”

The proceeds of “Angel From Montgomery” will benefit the MusiCares‘ COVID-19 Relief Fund.

Prine died of complications due to COVID-19 on April 7. To honor him, some of the Recording Academy’s board members recorded and released the special version of the song on May 22. “Angel From Montgomery” is a song from the songwriter’s self-titled 1971 album.

Recording Academy trustee Michael Romanowski, who originated the idea, said that the vision behind the project was not only to honor Prine but also to help the music community affected by the pandemic.

“We started this project as a way to raise money for MusiCares. With John’s passing, we also wanted to raise awareness that this can strike anybody,” he said.

From Dubai to scoffing McDonald’s: How celebs will celebrate lockdown ending

Lockdown measures around the world are slowly being eased, with the UK seeing smaller rises in the coronavirus death toll compared to just a few weeks ago.

Restaurants and fast food outlets are now slowly opening their doors – McDonald’s and Nando’s recently announced plans to get branches back to normal.

As airlines move closer to more daily flights, we’ll finally be seeing some of our favourite famous faces out and about again.

And a string of celebrities from Hollywood and beyond have spilled the beans to about what they have planned to eat, where they want to jet off to, and who they want to hug when isolation is eventually a thing of the past.

While some of them have set their sights on jetting to the nearest beach, others are simply craving a Big Mac.

Visit our live blog for the latest updates: Coronavirus news live

Honestly, same.

Love Island’s Luke Mabbott

First hug?

I will go round to my mum and dad’s, definitely. Go see them, and spend a lot of time there. I haven’t been able to see my mum and dad as much because of social distancing and stuff, and my mum gets really upset… So I’d be around there. [She’s the first person I’d hug] Yeah, 100%.

First holiday?

There’s so many places I want to visit. I’m dying to go to Australia, just everywhere really. Australia is at the top of the list. I’d go skydiving.

First restaurant meal?

Probably a parmo. It’s a meal in Middlesborough, it’s like breaded chicken with a béchamel sauce and cheese. It’s a proper northern thing. I’m eating healthy and training loads, so probably a parmo.

Jacqueline Jossa

I think I’ll go on a nice holiday with the kids. When I say holiday, it doesn’t have to be out of the country, just to take the kids somewhere.

My poor children have been inside for a month. They’ve not walked outside apart from one walk, so it’s more for them. I’ve found [lockdown] okay.

Bollywood legend Karisma Kapoor

Probably my mum, yes.

Actually, before a holiday, I would like to see my parents. I’ve not seen my parents or my sister or anyone. We’ve really been at home, abiding by rules and we’ve not seen our families. Before any trip I would really like to meet my family, and maybe after that I’d come to the UK and come to London.

Love Island winner Finley Tapp

My mum. I haven’t seen her for… This year, obviously I had six weeks in the villa. I could count on one hand the amount of times I saw her outside the villa, being so busy here and there. And then it was lockdown so I haven’t seen her a lot this year, so it will definitely be my mum.

Me and Paige [Turley] wanted to go to Dubai after the villa. We wanted to get back, sort a few things out and head up to Dubai. But obviously that got pushed back a little bit, so I think that’ll be somewhere that we want to go. My family are also going on holiday and we’ve got an invite to that, so that might be something we tag along to as well.

Restaurant meal?

I think it’s gonna be something in London, something nice, make up for all the meals… I think Paige is sick of my cooking now so I better treat her to a nice meal.

Star Wars’ Andy Serkis

That’s a tough one really. I mean, we’ll have so many close friends that [we’re] desperate to see and I think to pick one of them out would be… trouble, put it that way!

I’m a climber and a mountaineer, and to be able to go back to the Alps and do some walking and climbing… Or even last year we were in Himalayas, I’d love to go back there, too.

Restaurant meal?

It’s actually a local pub which serves incredibly good food. I can’t actually say the name, because I don’t want to give away my location! A local pub in North London, it’s a routine, and it’s a go-to place for myself and my wife Lorraine.

Star Trek’s William Shatner

I have 15 members of my family in Los Angeles, I’m lucky enough to have three daughters and they have children, and so every Sunday most of us meet to eat to have a meal. Of course we can’t do that so we meet every Sunday on Zoom which is fun. But I’m looking forward to interacting with my family.

Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips

Paige [Turley], I hope! I’m going to make it happen.

Maybe Marbella, just because it’s…  I do wanna go to Dubai but it’s long haul, Marbella is a short trip over the water. That’ll probably be my first holiday. The first place I’ll go after this will probably be Ireland, just because I wanted to go over there as soon as I came out of the villa anyway.

That’s where my family are, well some of my dad’s family. My dad’s grave is there so I just wanted to go there when Love Island was over and try and recollect myself, and I’ve not been able to do that yet. I don’t really class Ireland as a holiday but that’ll probably be the first place I go to once lockdown is over.

Restaurant meal?

McDonald’s! I’ve never wanted a double cheeseburger and a milkshake so much in my whole life! I can’t wait!

Faryal Makhdoom

I think the first thing I’ll do is probably go on holiday, honestly. I want to book my ticket to Dubai with my family. I just want to be on a beach for a whole week and enjoy good food, and just interact with humans. I really miss humans! I will go on holiday and really appreciate little things in life now.

Hollyoaks’ Jessica Fox

My mum! I haven’t seen her, and I really, really want to!

I was supposed to go to Thailand on the second week of lockdown, which was rubbish. But it is what it is. Hopefully we’ll try and get away later in the year but we’ll have to wait and see, really.

Restaurant meal?

I don’t really want to go to a restaurant! There’s a place in Liverpool called Wreckfish… It’s fantastic, they do this shin of beef that blows my mind a little bit, so I’d go there.

Love Island’s Jack Fowler

I haven’t seen my nan… I’ve seen her but through a window. So I’ll definitely go and see my nan.

I love Thailand. The thing is, I just need to touch Ibiza. I need to feel the heat slap my face as I get off the plane, knowing I can smell Ocean Beach as I do that. I want to be able to feel Ibiza again before summer’s over. I just want to go to Ibiza and then somewhere else.

Restaurant meal?

Ah McDonald’s, it’s got to be! I do want a McDonald’s. The first place I’ll probably take Joanne is Amazonica. It’s a South American cuisine restaurant next to Sexy Fish. It’s so nice in there, it’s unreal. I might go to McDonald’s for breakfast and end in Amazonica for dinner.

Rapper Lady Leshurr

I think I might have to go and visit my family because I never got to see my mum on Mother’s Day. I love seeing my mum on Mother’s Day to spoil her. So I’m re-doing Mother’s Day, I’m gonna go and see my sister’s kids, and then go and see my friends. But it’s got to be the family the first.

I was meant to go to Bali. That was just to get away on my own to find myself. I feel like it would be such a peaceful place.

Restaurant meal?

My meal would be a big lobster. I always get the biggest one there. Steamed with fries, salad…I was gonna say my favourite lobster martini but by then I won’t be drinking. So I’ll have a fresh glass of sparkling water.

Love Island’s Jess Gale

Obviously, it’d be great to see Chad. Also like my like best, best friends. As soon as I got out of the villa, I was so busy so I didn’t really get a chance to see them. And then lockdown happened, so I haven’t seen them since like January, and I can’t even believe it’s been that long. I can’t wait to see them.

I definitely do want to go on many holidays after this is over, I want to go out. It’s our 21st birthday in May, we wanted to go away for that. We wanted to be in like Ibiza or Dubai for our 21st, but obviously I spent it at home, which is not really what I had planned. So I think we’ll probably do belated celebrations for that and go on holiday somewhere nice, but I haven’t booked anything yet.

Restaurant meal?

I don’t know whether there’ll be open for a while, but a restaurant kind of club setting, maybe Monkey House or STK in London, just because I want to be out and about. We knew, or we heard rumours, that McDonalds was shutting so we like quickly got our last one in before it all shut!

Years and Years’ Olly Alexander

I really would love to just go to a beautiful weird house, just even in the countryside in the UK, with all of my friends. We’ve all been talking to each other and saying as soon as we can, we’re going to do that. That’s what I’m looking forward to. I’m a Londoner, I don’t have a garden so I’m really craving outside. And I really want to go to a spa.

Dragon’s Den‘s Sara Davies

My mum. I think you’re probably getting that answer a lot. I would say my mum, because I wouldn’t usually go long periods without seeing my mum, she only lives 20 minutes away. So, I would ordinarily see her every week. It’s because I’m so worried about her, because she’s just a woman on the edge, as I imagine a lot of grandparents are, because she’s not seeing the grandkids, and FaceTime really isn’t cutting it.

So now I’m having to deal with my mum who is trying to put on a brave face when we FaceTime with the kids, and then I’m having to FaceTime her back later because she’s sobbing her heart out. I’m so worried about her. She’s the one I want to hug, because I feel like she needs the support.

Restaurant meal?

I think it’s got to be the local pub in our village. They do wonderful food, but it’s that ambiance, I’ve really missed seeing my neighbours. It’s funny because you would see the neighbours in the pub on a night, but then I wouldn’t see them other than that, whereas now I’m passing them when we go out for a walk with his family on an evening. And I pass a load of the neighbours whereas I wouldn’t have done before. So definitely the pub in our village.

I work in Tampa, Florida, and I go over there every month for work and people always say to me, “Why don’t you take the kids and go over to Disneyland?” And I’m like, “Well, because we’re working, so I go over to work”. And I had a really big TV show that I was doing on the Tuesday after Easter weekend, the kids are off school. I had arranged that I was taking the whole family with me, and I was going to go and do my show, and then we were going to go and have four days at Disneyland.

Of course, that’s the time when lockdown happened! For years I’ve been promising them that one day, when it’s the school holidays and Mummy has a TV show in America, we’ll take them to Disneyland. With what happened, they’re devastated. I will definitely be taking the kids to Disney.

As a reminder, Scott and Kourtney spent his birthday weekend together with their kids in Utah, and a source said “Kourtney knows how to handle Scott, and he is always in a better headspace when he gets to spend time with his kids. She has really been there for him since his rehab exit and has had a lot of sympathy toward him.”

News of Scott and Sofia’s breakup hit right when he and Kourtney got back from their trip, but before we jump to too many conclusions, it sounds like Sofia ended things—though according to a Page Six source “Kourtney didn’t make it easy for [Sofia], and you can only tolerate that kind of treatment for so long.”

LeBron James Reacts to George Floyd’s Death With Image of Colin Kaepernick’s Kneeling Protest

The Los Angeles Lakers player calls attention to the latest police brutality by posting a picture of the NFL quarterback taking a knee in peaceful protest.

AceShowbizLeBron James is the latest star to speak out against police brutality against black suspects, after Minneapolis man George Floyd died after a police officer was filmed kneeling on his neck during an arrest.

Footage from the Monday night, May 25, 2020 tragedy, during which the African-American father of one, who was unarmed, can be heard repeatedly telling officers he was struggling to breathe, has outraged thousands online and led to the dismissals of the cops involved.

Stars including Ciara, Cardi B, and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs have already taken to social media to vent their frustrations, and basketball star LeBron shared a side-by-side comparison of NFL (National Football League) star Colin Kaepernick‘s peaceful kneeling protest and a still from the video footage of Floyd with a cop kneeling on his neck to highlight the issue of police brutality.

“Do you understand NOW… Or is it still blurred to you,” he wrote, along with the hashtag, “#StayWoke.”

Kaepernick was blacklisted by the sport’s officials for kneeling during the National Anthem before games, and the stance, which became known as “taking a knee,” was adopted by several players on the sidelines before games.

Meanwhile, several other stars across the entertainment industry have spoken out against Floyd’s death, with filmmaker Ava DuVernay commenting, “You deserved your breath, your dignity, your life. Not to die in the street, murdered by a white cop’s knee on your neck. You deserve our tears, our prayers, our rage, our action.”

“We must act – for you – and for all of those were (sic) no cameras are present. We must.”

John Boyega added, “This just burns. Seems to be a never ending cycle. The murderers need to be charged severely. Even in the face of death this man was given zero empathy.”

FBI officials and Minnesota state authorities are investigating the incident, with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz calling the incident “sickening,” adding, “We will get answers and seek justice.”

Ant McPartlin and girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett look loved-up as they wear masks on day out

Ant McPartlin and his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett look more loved-up than ever as they take a shopping trip.

The 44 year olds were seen in Wimbledon on Tuesday as they stopped by a local restaurant for cooking supplies during their day out.

Britain's Got Talent host Ant and his personal assistant girlfriend dressed in casual attire as they took a stroll in the sweltering heat beating down on the UK this week.

Ant donned a black short sleeved t-shirt which he teamed with a pair of grey tracksuit shorts and black and white chequered slip on Vans trainers.

Anne-Marie wore a grey loose fit jumper which read #HotMess for her trip with Ant, matching the item with a pair of ripped denim shorts.

Her summery ensemble was finished by a pair of toe-baring flip flops and a pair of sunglasses.

The lovebirds were careful to comply with government guidelines amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, with them both modelling disposable masks over the mouths and looked to ensure they steered clear of other passersby.

Anne-Marie went one step further, also wearing a pair of plastic gloves as she picked up a menu from the local eatery.

The couple struggled to keep their hands off each other during their day out, with Anne-Marie throwing an arm around Ant's shoulder while their free hands held on to one another while they waited for their goods.

Their loved-up appearance comes amid reports Ant is preparing to ask Anne-Marie to marry him just weeks after his divorce from Lisa Armstrong was finalised.

A source told The Sun last month: "It's been an extremely difficult road with a lot of heartache and unpleasantness, but it's finally done. It's over.

"Ant's been desperate to start the next chapter of his life and at least now he and Anne-Marie can plan for the future. It won't be long before they are married."

Ant and Lisa split in January 2018 after his public battle with alcohol and painkillers.

Molly-Mae Hague has sported a 1980s-style hairdo after celebrating her 21st birthday in lockdown with boyfriend Tommy Fury.

The blonde beauty was spotted on the streets of Manchester with her beau, also 21, as they continue to isolate together during the current pandemic.

She modelled a white hoodie underneath a black leather jacket, teaming the look with a pair of running leggings and perfectly white trainers.

Dressing similarly to his girlfriend, he matched the look with a pair of navy blue tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

The pair were all smiles as they took to the streets of the city during their day trip, which came just days after Molly-Mae's birthday.

Earlier this week, the social media influencer took to social media to reveal how her boxer boyfriend had marked her turning the milestone age.

The blonde Instagram sensation, who met Tommy on Love Island, described how she'd been "banished" upstairs on Monday evening, as Tommy got preparations underway.

And it turns out the wait was worth it, as clips shared with Molly-Mae's 4.1 million Instagram followers show the star waking up to a huge amount of stunning silver balloons with popping pink string clutching to the ceiling.

A Cartier bag sat centerstage in the present collection, however, perhaps the most wow-worthy gift of them all was the puppy Tommy decided to buy his business-owner girlfriend.

"Dear mummy, I can't wait to meet you in a few days. Until then have the best birthday and I know daddy will be spoiling you rotten, love you lots, your son Mr Chai. Woof woof," read the sweet card Tommy had left for Molly.

In a Rare Move, Kensington Palace Refutes a New Kate Middleton Cover Story

Kensington Palace is setting the record straight on a new cover story they claim misrepresents the Duchess of Cambridge.

On Monday, Tatler magazine published a feature story on Duchess Kate, titled “Catherine the Great,” which included a slew of now-debunked claims regarding how the royal was adjusting to her new heightened role within the royal family, following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s exit earlier this spring. In the piece, the publication claimed that Kate has felt overwhelmed with royal work and betrayed by the Sussexes since their stepping down; the piece even referenced a supposed argument between Duchesses Kate and Meghan during the Sussexes’ 2018 wedding.

“This story contains a swathe of inaccuracies and false misrepresentations which were not put to Kensington Palace prior to publication,” read a statement from Kensington Palace regarding the merit of the cover story.

Tatler‘s editor in chief is defending the story’s publication, however, claiming that Kensington Palace was, in fact, aware of the pending feature.

“Tatler’s editor-in-chief Richard Dennen stands behind the reporting of Anna Pasternak and her sources. Kensington Palace knew we were running the ‘Catherine the Great’ cover months ago and we asked them to work together on it. The fact they are denying they ever knew is categorically false,” Richard Dennen tells in a statement.

A royal source told BAZAAR on Tuesday that Kensington Palace did not know about the article until yesterday morning.

Kensington Palace is not expected to make further comments regarding the story. The Duchess of Cambridge is currently working from her Anmer Hall estate with Prince William amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis while also taking care of their three children.

Kelly Ripa Has Been Quarantining in the Caribbean This Whole Time, and People Aren't Happy

Uh-oh, looks like Kelly Ripa has been telling her fans a bit of a fib and they are not pleased. The Live with Kelly and Ryan host was revealed to have been quarantining in the Caribbean instead of in New York City, where she usually lives and films her talk show, according to People. Of course, there’s nothing inherently wrong with quarantining on a beautiful island, but lying about it to your loyal viewers makes this “fib” a bit harder to forgive.

The family was apparently vacationing on a Caribbean island when they got orders from ABC to shelter-in-place and, as a result, decided to stay. The news was shared by a fellow ABC employee after Ripa shared her story in a virtual town hall meeting for ABC employees.

“We had planned a trip for our family, and it was supposed to be our entire family of course,” said Ripa, according to a source who attended the virtual town hall. “And we arrive and three days later, the entire world changed, really. I mean, everything shut down; the government shut down; our country shut down. I hate to use the word stuck, but we were. We decided to stay where we were.”

After getting “stuck,” the talk show host and her husband, Mark Consuelos, and their three adult children have stayed put in the Caribbean. And fans had a lot to say about their qurantine experience on Twitter.

Kelly still acting like she’s in NYC going through the devastation with the millions of others 😏 #livekellyandryan Caribbean life #CoronavirusPandemic #kellyripa

@LiveKellyRyan very turned off by this show knowing @KellyRipa choose to lie about being stuck in her NYC apartment for 3 months…looking for a new morning show 🤷🏻‍♀️

@KellyRipa I love you Kelly but I really think not disclosing where you were during all of this was a mis-step. Your loyal viewers assumed you were in NYC and felt for you being in the hardest hit state. It was just deceiving on your part.

Kelly Ripa has pretended to be co-hosting her show from home for the past couple of months. She and her family have actually been holed up in a Caribbean hideaway since March, and she’s still there. She thinks you’re all a bunch of suckers.

She has been giving the impression that she and her family have been in NYC this entire time. Just be honest and not lie by omission. If you’re able to leave to be safer, that’s a good thing…I would do the same thing if I could. The cover up and explaining is worse.

I have always loved @LiveKellyRyan and @KellyRipa but feel a little lied to for the past 3 months thinking she was in NYC but it turns out she is in the Caribbean? I know it’s her business on what she does, but why not be honest from the beginning?

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with her choosing to leave to get away from the Pandemic, since she’s probably safer in the Caribbean than NYC. It’s the lying that bothers me.

But several retorts agree that it wasn’t about where Ripa was staying, rather about her representing herself as being in New York when she obviously wasn’t.

Its not about them being in the caribbean, its about her ‘acting’ like she was in NY at her home. I watch everyday and now i see she intentionally wanted us to think that. She acts ‘very open’ w us but its all apart of the Hollywood trick. I got tricked. Sucks #kellyripa

Although, some Twitter users have called out the fact that it was actually responsible of Ripa and her family to stay put where they were when the quarantine rules went into place, instead of traveling and potentially contributing to the spread of coronavirus.

So @KellyRipa decided to hold in place, not travel during a lockdown and keep her family out of a virus hotspot and we are mad cause she did it all in a nice place? Get a life! Use your energy better people.

Though the timeline of Ripa’s trip to the Caribbean looks questionable, at best, the general consensus seems like all of this could’ve been avoided if Ripa had said from the get-go that she was in the Caribbean.

Chrissy Teigen Responded After She Was Criticized for Sharing a Video of Her Coronavirus Test

  • On Tuesday, Chrissy Teigen tweeted a video of herself being tested for coronavirus, commenting, “Honestly loved it.”
  • Some social media users criticized her for sharing the video, with some suggesting she would put others off being tested, and others observing that the test is not widely available to all across the U.S.
  • Teigen responded that she was demonstrating the ease of the test, and noted that all residents of Los Angeles are eligible for free testing.

If you’re awaiting a coronavirus test, and aren’t entirely sure what it entails, Chrissy Teigen just gave a full demonstration with her latest Twitter video. In the clip, Teigen receives a swab in each nostril and giggles throughout. “It’s not bad at all,” she comments. “It tickles!” It makes sense that Teigen chose to demonstrate the ease of the test: Back in March, she slammed Donald Trump for complaining about the nasal swab, tweeting, “my vagina was ripped to my asshole giving birth to Luna. I had a vagasshole. fuck your swab pain.”

Teigen faced criticism on two fronts for sharing the video, however. One Twitter user said her video could dissuade “50k people” from taking the test, which baffled Teigen. “I just said it was easy and laughed the entire time. What are you talking about? It couldn’t have been easier.”

[twitter align=’center’ id=’1265374641163341827′][/twitter]

Others pointed out the disparity of coronavirus testing availability across the U.S., noting that wealth and privilege has granted many easier access to tests. In response, Teigen wrote that Los Angeles now offers all its residents free testing. “Everyone in LA can get tested for free. I’m having surgery and had to. I’m sorry if this offends you,” she said. (The Twitter user she replied to subsequently apologized for his comment, noting the difficulty residents of other areas face in securing a test. “My bad, I deleted the tweet. In DC we are still struggling to get folks tested and I spoke / tweeted without thinking of context. I own that. Hope your surgery goes well,” he replied.)

[instagram align=’center’ id=’CAqylh4pjZ-‘][/instagram]

On Instagram, Teigen revealed the surgery she’s awaiting: a breast implant removal. “They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie!” she wrote. “So don’t worry about me! All good. I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat.”

Chrissy Teigen opens up on hectic family life at home with husband John Legend and reveals she’s the ‘stricter’ parent

Like many other stars at this testing time, Chrissy Teigen is doing her best to spread a little cheer online.

The 34-year-old has launched Chrissy’s Court, a bite-sized show on new video-streaming app Quibi, where she sits in judgment of small claims cases. Alongside her mum Vilailuck, who acts as her bailiff, the show features real people and real disputes with trials carried out with a huge dose of humour. Judge Rinder, eat your heart out!

A huge star on social media, model Chrissy – married to singer John Legend and mum to Luna, four, and two-year-old Miles – is no stranger to the power of posting to the masses.

With more than 28 million followers on Instagram and 12 million on Twitter, Chrissy often has her fans laughing at her outspoken views on everything from politics to body image. However, one thing she has ruled out doing is reality TV. “I’d be too scared,” she says. “I don’t want to get into trouble!”

Here, the busy mum talks to new! magazine about her new role as a judge, her approach to social media and mental health and what it’s like to share a home with the official Sexiest Man Alive…

  • Celebrities who’ve posted incredibly candid photos of their baby bodies before and after birth

  • Copy Chrissy Teigen’s weird self-isolation beauty hack with these DIY gadgets

Hi Chrissy! How important is it to connect with other people online at this particular time?

Very. Everyone is trying to figure out how they’re going to make it. No one knows what’s happening. Nobody has all the answers. All we can do is keep each other company, have fun and make the best of what we’re going through.

So how did Chrissy’s Court come about?

John first sold me on the concept because he loved it. I didn’t know something so quick could be so entertaining. To work with my mom every day is so fun. We’ve had such a good time. I get to sit and wear a robe – it’s heaven!

You’re prolific on social media. Do you ever worry about what you post?

No, because I’m much better about saying things and when not to say things now. The timing of how to say things is the trick. Now, I sit back and watch everybody else get into trouble!

Is what you post written by you or do you have people to do all of that for you?

What you are seeing is me, but it’s tough sometimes. You want to be able to say more, but you can’t.

Do you ever get nervous using social media?

Definitely! Sometimes, I’m not in the right headspace to deal with it. I have two kids. I’ve got other stuff going on. Sometimes I want to say something so badly, but it’s not worth it. I need my mind to be clear.

How important is it for you to look after your mental health while on social media?

Beyond physical fitness, I love to stay mentally healthy. It’s really important to keep your wits about you and be able to laugh things off. I love social media, but it can be a really weird place. That’s why I love Twitter so much because you can curate your own feed and you can see things that make you happy. I love to laugh and see things that make me laugh.

And you also have a recipe website…

It’s such a true labour of love and we’re so happy to do it for everybody. I’ve never had a website except for a tiny little blog in the very, very beginning of my dating life with John. It’s very personal to me.

Has John changed much since being voted Sexiest Man Alive in a magazine?

[Laughs] I have noticed he’s not wearing a shirt under his blazers any more. He’s dressing differently. I’m like, “Are you going to wear a shirt? No, shirt? Oh, OK!”

What is your reaction to him getting the title?

I think it’s pretty cool.

How are you enjoying being a mum-of-two?

It’s been so great. Honestly, we have such a good time. Both our kids are at the perfect age right now. They’re having conversations with us. It’s great.

What’s it really like having two kids under five in the house?

Chaos, but we’ve always liked that controlled chaos. It’s fun. It reminds me of being on set and there’s never really a peaceful moment. I think that’s why when I am in a car or something, I’m like, “Silence!” I like pure silence. Our house is crazy. There are always people in and out. It’s just a hectic lifestyle, but I like it.

What’s your approach to parenting?

What John and I have done with having kids is take everything as it comes. Everything is going to fall together. It’s not like we set schedules for everything.

Who is stricter, you or John?

I’m stricter, for sure. I’m go-with-the-flow, but I also know exactly what they need when it comes to discipline. I’m stricter than John, but we have a good balance. That’s what works between us.

With everything you have going on, when do you find the time to work out or to just hang out with John?

It’s always important to make time for yourself. Before bed is my real time to myself. I’m blessed to have very good sleepers and they have strict bedtimes. I know that when they go to bed, it’s mine and John’s time. I get to take care of myself and feel like I actually have time for it, rather than rushing through it. It doesn’t happen seven days a week by any means, but when I get to do it, I’m happy.

Finally, have you ever thought about doing a reality television show?

I’m too scared. The things that I say on a daily basis… I don’t want to get into trouble! My mom would love to have a show, I know that. I don’t think I could ever do it. It’s too scary. Having people talk crap about you and watching that back? Oh, I would cry. I’m pretty sensitive.
