Sarah Ferguson wows in trusty outfit in Budapest

Sarah was pictured earlier this week discussing her new book, Her Heart for a Compass, with an interviewer in Budapest. She was still in the Hungarian capital yesterday, and was seen speaking to fans who wanted the Duchess’ book signed.

For the occasion, Sarah wore a forest-green cape from Italian brand Luisa Spagnoli.

Called the Sovranita Wool Cape, the garment has wide shoulders and a collar, which can be zipped open or closed.

It also has deep pockets and a loose belt around its waist.

The cape was also almost military in style as it featured epaulettes on the shoulders, complete with gold buttons.

Describing the cape, Luisa Spagnoli said: “Pure wool cape with a standing collar, featuring a gilded metal zip for fastening, a belt of the same fabric to tie at the waist, patch pockets and shoulder straps with gilded buttons. Below-hip length. Oversized fit.”

Sarah combined the bold garment with a pair of sheer black tights and black-laced boots.

Although barely visible, it seemed the Duchess was wearing a black dress or skirt underneath the cape.

Her red locks were styled in a fashionable half-up, half-down do, and she completed her look with a headband.

Sarah wore small gold hoop earrings and her beauty look was the usual lashings of black mascara, black eyeliner, and a slick of subtle, light pink lipstick.

Her dress, or top, underneath the cape was high neck, similar to a turtleneck.

Royal fans were quick to comment on Fergie’s look, with mostly positive reviews.

Instagram user @goosegirlenfys wrote: “Now it’s December and the season for it, she isn’t dressed as a nutcracker in a military jacket.
